Introduction
Recently, there have been a few pressing issues at school that have caught my attention. From the lack of English class representatives copying notes to the scarcity of Southeast Asian preschool students in our area, to the vast range of exceptional Western literary and artistic works and the rapidly developing 5G technology in mainland China, it's safe to say that there is a lot going on. In addition, I was also recently tasked by our homeroom teacher to take over a C1 class, which has been a bit of a challenge. Lastly, our class leader shed some tears when questioning whether it was okay to collect in-game currency in games. In this article, I will explore each of these topics in more detail.
English Class Representative Copying Notes
One issue that has been brought to my attention is the scarcity of English class representatives copying notes. As someone who takes pride in academic excellence, I believe that having an attentive and responsible class representative is essential to a successful learning experience. The role of an English class representative is to take notes for the class, communicate with the teacher, and ensure that everyone is aware of upcoming homework assignments and tests. Without a class representative carrying out these duties, students may fall behind in their studies, causing problems for both the teacher and themselves. Therefore, it is crucial that every English class elects a responsible representative who is committed to taking accurate and precise notes for the benefit of their classmates.
Scarcity of Southeast Asian Preschool Students in our Area
Another issue that has come to my attention is the scarcity of Southeast Asian preschool students in our area. This topic is particularly troubling because it raises questions of diversity and inclusion. Every student should feel welcome and supported in their learning environment, which can be difficult when you are the only person from a particular region or culture. Schools should strive to create environments that celebrate the differences among students and promote inclusivity. I believe that increasing the number of Southeast Asian preschool students in our area is a crucial step towards creating a more diverse and inclusive community at school. One way to do this is by partnering with organizations that support and recruit students from underrepresented communities.
Western Literary and Artistic Works
As someone who is passionate about literature and art, one of the things that has always bothered me is that we don't have access to a lot of Western literary and artistic works. Many schools in the West have access to incredible works like the works of Shakespeare and Vincent van Gogh. However, in our school, we have a limited range of literary and artistic works that we study. I believe that studying these works is just as important as learning about Chinese literature and art. By exposing students to a wider range of cultural influences, we can broaden our perspectives and gain a deeper understanding of the world around us. I would urge school officials to consider increasing access to these works and encouraging students to engage with them on a deeper level.
5G Technology in Mainland China
Mainland China has been at the forefront of technological development and the implementation of 5G technology is no exception. 5G technology is set to revolutionize the way we communicate and interact with the world around us. The potential uses of 5G technology are vast, ranging from remote surgery to smart agriculture. However, it is important to note that with every technological development comes potential risks. As the technology continues to evolve, we will need to be diligent in ensuring that we address ethical and legal implications. Furthermore, we need to ensure that this technology is accessible to everyone and doesn't increase the digital divide between the rich and poor.
C1 Class
Taking over a C1 class has been an interesting challenge. It's given me an opportunity to develop my leadership skills and improve classroom management. However, it's also been a bit overwhelming at times. I've learned that keeping students engaged and focused can be difficult, especially after a long day at school. However, I believe that with the right approach and mindset, I can make a positive impact on the students in the class and help them achieve their academic goals.
In-Game Currency Collection
Finally, our class leader recently shed some tears when questioning whether or not it's okay to collect in-game currency in games. While this might seem like a trivial issue, it raises questions about ethics and responsibility. I believe that it's important for students to understand the importance of being responsible consumers and to consider the ethical implications of their actions. Collecting in-game currency may seem harmless, but it can encourage students to adopt habits that promote instant gratification over long-term success. It's important for educators to encourage responsible decision-making and to teach students the importance of delayed gratification.
Conclusion
There are many issues facing schools today, from the lack of English class representatives to access to Western literary and artistic works. However, by confronting these issues head-on, we can create a better learning environment for everyone involved. It's important to foster diversity and inclusion, develop leadership skills, and encourage responsible decision-making. By prioritizing these values, we can help prepare our students for a successful future.
